Museum School

From painting and drawing to photography and collage, the spring semester of studio art classes and workshops at the Museum School offers a variety of art experiences for both the beginner and the experienced artist. Spend six weeks getting personalized instruction in the medium you most want to explore. Or come by for a Saturday afternoon hands-on workshop with a working artist. Be inspired by the Taubman’s innovative exhibitions and rich permanent collection.

Studio Classes

Learn a new skill or update your technique in a familiar medium. Each class is taught by a professional artist or art educator and is capped at ten students, so you receive the support and guidance you need.

Museum School Information

Enrollment for each class is limited; registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. You can register by mail, by phone, or in person. The Museum accepts cash, check, or credit card. Full payment must accompany registration. Registered students will recieve a confirmation by email or mail, with details about class requirements, suuplies, and museum procedures.
