First Fridays for Art by Night: 5pm - 8pm (Free)
First Sundays: Noon - 4pm

Gallery Admission

Friends of the Taubman are always FREE!
General admission for ages 14 to 64: $7

Visitors 65 and over: $6
Children 5-13: $3.75
Children 4 and under are free
Groups of 10 or more: $2 off each admission fee
Groups of 10 or more with guide: $7/person for adults; $5/person for school groups

Group And School Tours

Do you want to learn more about what you see in our galleries? Enjoy a group tour through our special exhibitions and American Art galleries with a docent who will share fascinating background information and details about the artworks, and answer your questions. Tours are available Tuesday–Friday; tour requests must be made three weeks in advance.

School Tours

We offer two different kinds of tour experiences for school groups. Learn more about them here. Tours are $5 per student; teachers and chaperones are free. Adult Tours

We offer adult tours for community groups, retirement communities, college classes, and other interested groups. Tours are $7 per person. To arrange an adult tour, please contact Meghan Gelardi Holmes, Curatorial Assistant for Adult Education, at 540.204.4127 or mgholmes[at]taubmanmuseum[dot]org

Accessibility

The museum is wheelchair accessible. Wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis from the Visitor Services front desk. Handicapped parking spaces and the wheelchair entry ramp are located behind the museum on Norfolk Avenue.

Large-print gallery guides are available at the Visitor Services front desk and in the Resource Lounge on the 2nd floor for persons with low vision. Touch plate replicas of several pieces in our permanent collection will also be available in our Art Venture interactive gallery to enhance the experience for all visitors.  A 3D replica of the Taubman building is also available to touch in Art Venture and in the Resource Lounge.
